Hello Friends!

So I probably should have written a note about this sooner, but I just wanted to let everyone know watsup, that way you don't wonder why I've been MIA out of nowhere. I'm leaving August 3rd, aka in 2 days, for 2 ½ months, which means I'm returning on October 11th. I'm going to Arizona to do an apprenticeship program at the Tree of Life Rejuvenation Center. I'm going to become a Spiritual Live Food Instructor. See Below haha.

I'm really excited. I have nooo idea what to expect, and that's wonderful. I've never even been away from my apartment for more than 2 weeks at a time. I hope I become a better person while I'm there. But not just better. Smarter, more spiritual, more religious, more full. I'll be doing things I've never done before in my life, which is something I always look forward to. Aside from all the other wonderful kitchen/food/nutrition associated things I'm going to be doing, I'm particularly looking forward to practicing meditation, and participating in religious services. I've always wanted to have a deeper appreciation of my religion (Judaism). All in all, I hope, in a way, that I "find myself", or at least develop a more clear idea of how to become healthier, and how to cultivate my future. I'm very excited to learn great things, and meet some wonderful new people.

This trip is coming both at a good time and a bad time. Certain things have unfolded recently, and while I'm on the subject, I'll be looking for a new roommate soon so if you're interested or know anyone that is, please let me know.

While I'm there I expect to do a lot of journaling. I understand there are some computer facilities there, but I'm going to do my best to refrain from electronics except when necessary, or unless I get lonely haha. If you wish to send me a message, please send it to my main e-mail address rather than to my gmail account. Mostly though, I was hoping for some pen pals. I think it would be so wonderful to have people to send letters to and receive letters from. Snail mail is something that's become very out- of fashion, but I remember how fun it used to be!! If you want to be my pen pal or perhaps an e-pal, I'll be leaving my contact info on the bottom of this note. Message me about this!

I'm going to miss you guys, and I wish all of my friends a most wonderful remainder of the summer. Go ahead and live up the rest of the summer rays!!
