"@IceBreaker165 to be honest i didn't even have anything on my ipod in the first place. i just got it so i didn't lose anything but it did take me 10 minutes to restore. but i am really stupid you know. you didn't have to restore it on itunes. to get out of recovery mode just hold the power button and home button for a couple of seconds and it'll come back with all your stuff saved. thats all you need to do in recovery mode. "

A guide on how to jailbreak iOS 5.0.1 untethered on iPhone 4, 3GS, iPod Touch 4, 3G, and iPad 1 using redsnow. This does not work on iPhone 4S or iPad 2, but an updated version will be released soon and I will update this guide on my channel when it is, so stay tuned!
Notes:
-This works on all devices, except iPhone 4S and iPad 2 (guide for those will be up soon, so stay tuned).
-This is untethered. This means once you jailbreak, you don't need a computer to turn your device back on if you turn it off.
-Backup to iTunes and Restore/Update to iOS 5.0.1 before attempting this.
-If you are jailbroken on a tethered jailbreak, just run this over it to make it untethered.
-I am not responsible for any damage you do to your device. (It should be fine, this is just a disclaimer).
-Links to Download Redsnow are below for both windows and mac.
-If you have trouble getting your device into DFU mode, just google how to do it. It's not too hard.
