Just wanted to thank you again for sharing ' Get up, Stand up' your post just blown me away. Many years back I remember being at a concert on Clapham Common, Dennis Brown, Big Youth, Ruby Turner etc etc. That day an artist sung this track about Rastas shaking their locks, and I remember during the chorus he took off his hat and along with all the Rastas in crowd he did exactly that. I was new to reggae concerts and didn't know who it was. Since then for what must be 20 yrs i've been trying to find out who it was and what that track was called. I've called all top regge shops in London, but nobody was there or knows who it was. i WONDER IF YOU OR ANYONE ELSE READING THIS CAN EDUCATE ME? .. I LOVED TRACK SO MUCH, and THANKS again for what has to be one of best posts on tube; and thinking must be lots of jealous people on here that people have marked it less than 5*, as anyone would have to be ill to mark a video like that as less than 5 zzzzz
