I have been a fan of John Denver and his music since I was in 7th grade and that was a LONG time ago. I just discovered the enormous quanity of videos on John on You Tube and I'm thrilled! Watching them is like reliving his concerts and specials all over again. There is a void in my life since he unexpectedly passed away. I treasure every memory, every song, and every word. The man had the most profound influence on my life. I am a better person and more responsible steward of this planet because of John Denver.
Now, I've opened a new chapter in my life. The first time I heard David Cook's voice I was washing the dishes and I ran into the family room to see who was singing. It was David's audition of Living on a Prayer. That was it. I am a fan for life. His music brought me out of a deep depression after the death of my fiance and my triple bypass. He's a beautiful person, inside and out. I can see me going to Dave's concerts for years to come.
