Rick has been performing all his life. He acted out a story he was just suppose to read in the third grade. He started playing drums at at 13 years of age and was in all the bands in school and college. He was playing percussion for the play "Brigadoon" and looked on stage and thought I should be up there. His first play was "Charley's Aunt "; followed by " A Man for all Seasons". He has played drums and sang since high school in many different bands. In 1985 Rick started acting again with "Arsenic and Old Lace". He studied, drama, acting, speech and film making. He started professional work on the series "Falcon Crest" and went to get an Agent and to do Stand Up Comedy. He's appeared in, Television, Film, Commercials and Theater and has been a Radio DJ.
He has a screenplay that is being shopped.
Rick's philosophy is: an Artist is not something you become it's "Who You Are". God gave you these Gifts and it's your obligation to develop them and use them for the "Benefit of Mankind".
He is in feature film; " In the Eye's of a Killer" with Actor/ Director Louis Mandylor (My Big Fat Greek Wedding) also with his brother Costas Mandylor (SAW IV,V & VI ) playing Congressman Donaldson and James Marshal playing The Sheriff (A Few Good Men & Gladiator with Cubba Gooding Jr. Also Gwendolyn Edwards as Gwen: She co wrote and Starred in (The Last Confederate) with Tippi Hedren and Petri Hawkins-Byrd (Judge Judy) ... who plays Clarence. " In the Eye's of a Killer" has won many awards in film festivals and is set for release in the first of 2010. He appeared in the play, "Eavesdropper", both in SF and LA on Theater row, playing multiple roles. He has also been cast in the Movie Version of "Eavesdropper". He just finished the feature "Gideon's Ark" as Gideons Father a Lead Role. He is also in the Feature "Permit to Firm It" that has been Submitted to the Sundance Film Festival.

He has had notice in reviews most notably the SF Chronicle.
