not saying your wrong or lieing but you also got to look at there milage and dirty engines and alot of other things, gm high performance tested this last year they took 3 LS1's one from a vette one from a Trans am ws6 and one from a camaro ss and all three rean between 345 to 355 rwhp stock tunes...

all cars are put on the 1/4 mile with and auto trans amd if you have ever bought new semi slicks there sticky as fuck thats how they test all sports cars for there numbers

it's easy math take 15 times 385 and you get 57.5 now take 385 minus 57.5 and wow 327.5 wow easy math, i don't know what year your zo6 is but the 01 had the LS6 block, heads and cam so they ran about 25-35 more hp than the LS1, and were lighter, the 6.0 GTO ran the LS2 which made 440 to the crank...

just to clarify the LS2's made 435hp to the crank and 370RWHP give or take every engine is different by a few hp the LS1's make 410hp to the crank and 350RWHP but trans ams also weigh less and the ws.6's have ram air which increases hp the faster u go so there almost dead even bone stock look up ...

both cars are fast as shit stock and can be modded to be even faster, its all in what you do to these engines.

@caseboyed not to argue but if u burn street tires they loose traction leaveing stock tires cold a letting psi out is your best option warming strret tires wont do a damn thing

@djcyber290 the rear end and suspension is what u need to upgrade put the power to the pavement. and slicks, otherwise u will just spin them from a dig i can't go more than half throttle in 1st or 2nd or i spin with the tcs on
