religion has plagued culture for years, and the industrialized world is now realizing its mistake and secularizing. Countries like Britain, Sweden, Japan, etc. have all become rapidly non-religious and become a more tolerant people for it. There is one industrialized country, however, that seems to have a very slow progress in secular regards. That country is the good 'ol U.S. of A. I find it disturbing at the religious crap our education system is put through, and how our politics degrade into religious background as an eligibility for any office. It is time we put an end to this nonsense and stand up for education, science, and a tolerance of cultures and eliminate the traces of theocracy this country has. The only good nation is a secular nation.

Now don't get me wrong. I don't have a problem with you believing in something. I DO have a problem with that becoming governmental policy, especially when it oppresses the civil liberties of the people it would affect.
