Rogers enters with a toy earth-mover. He puts a few blocks on the rug to show how the earth-mover works. Then he takes the earth-mover to the kitchen to pick up sand. He says that, when he played with such toys as a boy, he liked to think of earth-movers at work (video insert). Rogers returns to the living room to read a section of Are You My Mother? by P.D. Eastman. Because of that book, Rogers says he calls earth-movers "snorts." Mr. McFeely arrives with a videotape on how people make toothpaste. Just before the screening, Rogers quizzes Mr. McFeely (he guesses correctly) how Picture-Picture got its name. (less info)
