Random Creatureface Films was founded in 2005 and consists of three men:
Lance Hendrickson, Ben Trandem, and Mike P. Nelson.

Ben Trandem was born in Minnesota, raised in Wisconsin and South Dakota, and will die on the second colony of Mars when the Klaknoir attack. During his sophomore year at MCAD he took his first real film class and realised his crappy comics worked wonderfully as storyboards for his short films. Using and abusing his childhood friend Lance Hendrickson Ben was able to make a few decent shorts. Around the same time he met film major Mike Nelson and acted as the Man with the Switchblade in Mike's short Man with the Switchblade. Clever eh? Seeing someone with an equal interest in film Ben cast Mike as the Monocle Zombie in his short film Goldrush: The Alternate Ending. That was the first Random Creatureface production and was to be followed by The G.I., Lucky, Necrotize, and now Summer School as their first feature.

Mike grew up in the suburb of Maple Grove, MN. He went to film school at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design and made his love of movies and monsters his lifes work. Not only does Mike enjoy creating award winning films such as The G.I. and Finger Food, but he also started a small subsidiary company tagged Rockford Road Pictures, dedicated to creating quickly made, yet stylized exploitation films in the horror and action genres. Mike met Ben Trandem while attending The Minneapolis College of Art and Design and found similar interests with him in filmmaking. He then went on to meet Lance Hendrickson through Ben and the rest is history. Aside from making and directing film, Mike currently works at Undertone Music in Downtown Minneapolis as a sound designer for film and television. His current work as a sound designer includes several short independent films and the feature film Summer School. Besides making films, Mike enjoys watching talking and drinking films (especially of the 70's), shooting guns, chilling with his girlfriend, listening to 50's and 60's Rock 'n Roll, cruising, graphic design, and of course a good glass of scotch and a smoke.

Lance currently lives in St. Paul, MN. He has worked with Ben and Mike for the last few years on short films. When the idea came up to shoot a feature film, Ben struck on the idea for Summer School and he was on board. He is currently in the midst of producing Random Creatureface's Films next feature. Besides producing and having a supporting actor role, he wrote and directed the Cult sequence of the film.
