@Anarchyffan Clearly, it's not. Hence my comment. But look at its design. Top of the barrel is cut the same as a EBR MOD0. The stock using the two notched rails is the same as well. Main differences are the bottom of the stock looking WAY off, and the front part of the stock not covering the gas...

@matthill14 It's nothing about it not being michael bay. It's just a boring movie. And I like some slow moving movies. Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy - both the recent movie, and the multipart BBC TV series rocked. This movie however...well, didn't IMO.

@SergeiPilipenko Actually, there is a fair amount of truth to this movie. If you want to call something out, it's the second captain. The original crew was interviewed to help make the movie. So...sorry, no.

@malibu35072 East coaster here...I don't buy snow only tires (don't feel like buying rims) but good all seasons, some chains and a good sense of when to not leave home. I've never crashed in snow...almost been taken out a few times. Normally by pickup trucks. Stupid Seattle/East side drivers...

@VincentBrooke1 Having watched the original Alec Guinness show and this movie, it makes sense. One single clip out of context is hardly enough to judge a movie. Slow moving? Yes. Intelligent? Very. Thought out? Quite. Excellent movie? Without any doubt.

@teaparty8221 It was a combo of having new magazines for me, and just using it. 1k rounds later it was fine. Springfield just didn't smooth out the edges - but I guess if I want that, I need to have a gunsmith do work on it, not expect SAI to have done it.

Owning a real M14 EBR Mod 0 (telescoping stock, not a magpul stock) I have to say that painting the gun seems blasphemy. But then again, I have the real deal, where the Sage stock alone costs $700 and you have to wait a few months, since the armed forces seem to be ordering batches of them :) The...

@dunecigar Ever seen a holster with a index finger lock on it? Ever tried to disarm someone wearing one of those, or a holster that snaps closed over the backstrap of the gun? It's not simple. Anyone who is alert has already pushed you away by the time you figure out how to get the gun loose.
