To reply to Apostle: it is like saying getting into Harvard is hard, so the back door is the way to go? Of course it is hard to get to God, no one said this was easy. So many devotees who saw God - Kabir, Moses, Mirabai, Vakula Devi - they had to go thru sooo much, tested so many times before God came before them - this is the highest honor & these people think they can just beg & grovel on their knees & that will please God - yes, all God wants are spineless Slaves - I don't think so

I am a Christian who sees sense in what you say about heaven. God sees our problems and sent Jesus to suffer and show us how to suffer .He asked us to carry our cross and follow him. Even in modern times He appears to some people and they are chosen to suffer more than others to save sinners from going to hell. So I agree with you that God is with us suffering with us and may be that is all there is to life. I hope reincarnation is true. My religion does not teach that but says there is a purgatory where we continue our suffering before entering paradise. So our best solution will be to live life doing good to each other and hope others will do the same. Then we will have heaven here on earth. But with the devil around we will have someone to disrupt this pleasant dream.

it degrades humanity for eternity. the lower caste was not allowed to sit next to higher caste. he was not allowed to eat, drink or mingle with higher castes. religion created the caste system.
