About Raggamuffin Festival
RAGGAMUFFIN -- celebrating its 5th anniversary in January -- is New Zealand's premier reggae and roots festival with a dash of hip hop and dub for good measure. It will again feature an unrivalled line-up of international and top local acts.
RAGGAMUFFIN 2012 will be held on January 27th-28th, 2012 -- Anniversary weekend at Rotorua International Stadium and features international acts Ali Campbell's UB40, Billy Ocean, J Boog, Arrested Development, Big Mountain, Jnr Marvin, Spawnbreezie and Nkulee Dube (Lucky Dube's daughter).
And because Aotearoa has THE best reggae roots acts in the world, we have a ton of local talent too, including Katchafire, House of Shem, Kora, 1814, Cornerstone Roots, Three Houses Down, Sons of Zion, Sweet and Irie, Tomorrow People, Soljah, NRG Rising, Foundation, Chad Chambers, DJ Sir-Vere and DJ Poroufessor....phew!
