Raffaella Piccolo studied architecture in Palermo; as a designer and painter she has realized many artistic projects with musicians' collective Improvvisatore Involontario, designing also their album releases and the web site. As a part of improvised music and art performances with Improvvisatore Involontario (Naked Musicians, Carne da Cavallo, AV coalition) she developed an unique live painting technique combined with video animation projected through plexiglass. This tecnique is used also in the new 2008 born Synestension project.
