I'm not interested in the usage of a language by the common people. Common people tend to make mistakes or use slang. So socio-linguistics is for people who care about the usage of language by the common people. I do not care about that. I care about the standard language, the perfect usuage like one should speak and write. I hate slang with all my heart. Therefore I'll always fight for correct language usuage.

You're Mexican, therefore I assume you speak Mexican-Spanish, is a Spanish dialect. Though Castilian (which is proper and clean original Spanish) uses neerlandés. I looked it up in a dictionary. I refuse to use 'holandés' because it's after the name 'Holland' which is erroneously used in foreing languages for my country. Holland is in fact a coastal region in the west of the Netherlands; it consists out of two provinces called: 'Noord-Holland' and 'Zuid-Holland'. The other 10 provinces doesn't belong to that region. Therefore the name Holland as an indication for the whole country is incorrect! We call our country: 'Nederland' it literally means: 'low land'. In English the name Netherlands is used for official communication. I prefer to use forms of 'Nederland' or 'Low land' in other languages. Like 'Países Bajos' in Spanish. Also on the Spanish version of Wikipedia 'neerlandés' is used.
