The 2nd part is a kind of an horizontal shooter, which is worse than the 1st part.

And the 3rd part feels a lot like the 1st part, but now your hero can shoot, and it has the worst color clashes I ever seen in my life. I kid you not, I don't remember any other game suffer so...

This thing would never work on a Mega-Drive.

Mega-Drive games are expecting a digital input, while this obviously has an analogue input. This wheel probably works as a Mouse when plugged on an amiga.

The music was awesome, shame the sound channels had to be shared with the sfx.

The music is accelerated because the game was made to be played in a PAL msx (50 hz), and its being played in an NTSC msx (60hz)

Funny thing is that most MSX videos I see on youtube are the opposite, japanese NTSC ga...

This is a spin-off from Wolfteam's Final Zone. The first Final Zone game was made for old Japanese computers (MSX, PC-88 at least). Final Zone 2 was released for the Turbo-Grafx and maybe also other systems.

It makes no sense at all to leave the MSX games out, the MSX was *the* 8 bits computer for gaming

the backgrounds are all FMV, the "main game" is flat 3D with no textures, with a very low polycount (Which the 68000 could do it easity even without the help of the Sega-CD extra power). The explosions are normal sprites.
