Could we have a definitive response from Bugera that the quality issues with the channel switching etc., have finally been fixed? I need a gigging amp to be reliable. Yes, I know there's a warranty but that's no good to me if it craps-out mid-gig. Thanks in advance.

This review would have been a lot more helpful without the Zoom. As it stands all you're giving us is a sample of Zoom distortion. I need to know what the Peavey sounds like-not the Zoom. Sorry.

Great spanky tone. I previously owned a Blues Junior and it didn't sound too good with a Les Paul-seemed to dislike humbuckers. Never tried it with single coils.

Now that I play a Tele (Baja) exclusively the Pro sounds like it was made for it. Nice demo and nice playing. Cheers.

I have the Hornby R2933 BR late green version and it is absolutely superb. Slow running is smooth and quiet and perfect for shunting my small layout. Detailing is awesome.

By the way the 'axles' you mention are called coupling rods.

Very nice. Should I assume it's based on the classic Inglenook Sidings? I have a 4'x2' coffee table just crying out for a shunting puzzle!

Would you recommend the pug for a small shunting-puzzle layout, or is stalling on points a problem? Sorry to be a pain but I'm looking for a small shunter and it needs to be reliable.

Perhaps you could try using Peco Streamline Code 100 electrofrog points to solve the stalling problem. I had a Hornby Class 14XX which stalled over standard points at slow speeds. Electrofrog points cured the problem. I enjoy your reviews, thanks.

Excellent sounds; I love the coupling-rod clank. I'm starting back into railway modelling after many years with a small 'shunting puzzle' layout. I think the 3F will be an ideal loco. How is the slow-running performance?

Great to hear this. I knew Sam well-used to drink in the same pub in London during the 70s and 80s (Bricklayer's Arms in Putney). Many an evening was spent with him playing pinball for the highest score of the week (first prize a bottle of spirits of your choice!)

Very nice! Are those Mamod rear wheels on the Wilesco, and if so did you need to modify anything to fit them? I always felt the standard Wilesco wheels are a little disappointing.
