Just a testimonial on Marius' two-octave blues scales: I play in country/variety band and in the course of an evening we do play in all 12 keys. Unfortunately, I have felt a little bit paralyzed like I couldn't say anything in certain keys I am was not so familiar with. So, I took the time to learn Marius' scales in all 12 keys and get fluent with them playing basic blues licks. Voila, it's really got the notes flowing! I now have something to say no matter what key I'm in.

Also, there's some magic juju in the fingering going up on the C-G-A-E scales. It's really improved my upward runs and gotten me out of playing inside of octave boxes. Thanks, Marius, for posting these.

you're great, yeah, the modes are truly finally explained, lol. classical music just names them. jazz "exploits" them.
