About Me:

Rachel Rossos provides the melody. Born in New Jersey and schooled in New York City, the 27-year-old folk rock storyteller grew within the Manhattan club scene, weaving together guitar, voice, and bittersweet poetry in such venues as the Knitting Factory, CBGBs Gallery, and Postcrypt Coffeehouse. Her 2004 debut CD "Rated R" is available on CDBaby and in most digital retail stores, including iTunes. From 2002 to 2006, Rachel worked in development for The New York Pops orchestra under the direction of Skitch Henderson in Carnegie Hall. In 2006, Rachel moved to the west coast where served as the Director of Development and Marketing for the New Century Chamber Orchestra. She has performed in various San Francisco venues, including Hotel Utah, Encounter Studios, and Retox Lounge. In August and October 2006, Rachel was a featured guest on the Cable TV show "SF Open Mic." In 2007, Rachel's voice could be heard in the Studio Theatre's production of "The Pillowman" in Washington, D.C. and on the third album produced by Nick Rossos, Bohemian Fusion.

In 2010, Rachel moved back to NYC to become the Director of Relationship Marketing for the New York Philharmonic. She and her husband, keyboard player Michael Gallant, perform as Aurical and released their debut album together, "Something to Say", on March 19, 2011. The album can be purchased on CD Baby, iTunes, and Amazon. For more, visit www.auricalmusic.com
