Soy una cómica estadounidense. Vivo en Barcelona desde 2004 y actúo en castellano. Tardé un par de años en poder actuar razonablemente bien en este idioma, pero aprendí a expresarme poco a poco simplemente actuando cada semana en el Teatro Llantiol de Barcelona, donde sigo hoy en día una vez al mes en mi show de comedia, "Cómo ser feliz todo el tiempo".

Antes vivía en Los Angeles y NYC, donde me formé como cómica. Siendo inmigrante a España, mucho de mi material se centra en el choque cultural. Mi estilo es ácido e irreverente, y no tengo miedo de expresar mis opiniones sobre temas tabú de la sociedad de aquí (religión, política, sexo, etc). Sé que mi comedia ofenderá a algunos, pero creo que lo lógico es, si no te gusta, no has de verlo. Hay suficiente espacio en una sociedad libre para diversas opiniones.

I'm a comedian, originally from the U.S.A., who lives in Barcelona and does comedy shows in Spanish. I moved to Barcelona in 2004 from L.A., where I came up as a comic as well as in NYC. It took me about two years before I became fully comfortable acting in Spanish. I learned by doing, offering a weekly comedy show immediately after arriving in my new country at the Llantiol Theater of Barcelona. I still do my comedy show once a month there. It's a fantastic, cabaret-style alternative theater, the only one of its kind in Barcelona.

Being an immigrant to Spain, much of my material centers around cultural clashes and observations of the society here. Because my style is frank and irreverent, I don't shy away from topics considered taboo for comedians here, such as religion, politics, or sex. I know my material is sure to offend some people, but my advice is: if you don't like it, don't watch it. There's enough room in a free society for diverse opinions.
