Beautiful man - beautiful voice. And, no matter what any one says in defense of days singers - i cannot find a substitute for this voice. In fact, nothing gets remotely near it. Just so pleased i experienced something of this era.

They were just about at the end of their time together when this came out. It got into the lower regions of the British charts. Exciting times.

There live act was something else. You had to see it to really appreciate how good they were. Tin Soldier was originally written with PP Arnold in mind but the band must have realized it was a bit special, they recorded it for themselves.

Brilliant song written by a plain old west country boy genius. Reg Presley was dead down to earth with his feet firmly on the ground. He made a killing on this number when Wet, Wet, Wet covered it.

What a genius. In the short space of time he was alive - the wonderful songs. Simplicity expertly delivered. Never ever be another Buddy Holly.

Amazing vocal on this. Fred Neil wrote the original, but Nilsson sings this as good as anyone ever could. RIP in peace Harry.

He was brilliant. Dynamite in fact, and some of those songs he penned still stand out today. It's a shame religion had to ruin it. But, then again we should not be to surprised. Religion, money and drugs - guaranteed to lose you popularity.

He was brilliant in the late 60s, and i admire him greatly. But, i could never quite understand the Islam thing. Still, the talent was and still is quite remarkable regardless of how and where he prays in the cold light of day!
