Re: Arran Ferry. I would love to take my car over to Arran and do the 50 mile drive round the island but the huge cost makes it prohibitive , I think it is not far off £70 , as a foot passnger it is just over a tenner return. Not being Arran locals , the cost is descriminate against the tourists and daytrippers visiting 'Scotland in miniture'. There is a car hire place over there but it is about £45 per day. The whole thing is disappointing.
