The dog in the front left is a Papillon--the Phalene variety not a King Charles Spaniel. They teased his hair to look like Leah's buns.

This should not only be a wake up call for Ohio, but other states that allow ownership of exotic animals--this includes wolves and wolf hybrids. Wild animals belong in the wild not in some morons backyard zoo.

I study this disease in humans and to say that a breeder is irresponsible for not checking their dogs for an NCL mutation is the same as saying the parents of children with Batten Disease are irresponsible parents because they should have gotten checked. Because NCL is so rare--in dogs and people...
