@SakoTGrimes Actually GM states that the 5.7 gasoline engine is more reliable and can get more HP than their 6.5 engine. but the 6.5 does great gas mileage and that's what it was built for, not to haul or tow, just be a diesel-sipping daily cruiser, just unreliable if you abused it

It's nice to see high mileage vehicles out on the road but i still haven't heard of a 3/4 million mile toyota, and somewhat disappointed. I know the 4 and 6 cyl. engines last a long time. But haven't heard of their 8 cyl. engines hitting high mileage yet.

@Jay500500500 the 6/5 optimizer is the engine used in the military which are a lot more reliable but cost 3 or 4 K more than stock 6.5s. unless your hell bent on 6.5s and government motors i'd invest in a cummins or powerstroke. A lot more power with a lot heavier wallet. just my 2 cents

U guys are all IDIOTS!!! it's not the manufacturer but the driver. It's an operator error not the make and model of the vehicle. thebozly and chevydiesel350015 are both looking for excuses to bash this video. In certain conditions it happens the driver was at the wrong place at the wrong time.

this video is biased, if u want accurate info either research specs and compare to life application or in this case hook up a 10,000 lb. trailer and then race.
