My Statement of Faith
-----------------------------

1. The 66 books of the Bible are the divinely inspired written Word of God.

2. The final guide to the interpretation of Scripture is Scripture itself.

3. All historical events in the Bible actually happened.

4. There are no contradictions in the Bible.

5. Genesis is a historically acurate book form Creation to Noah's flood to Joseph in Egypt.

6. The fall in Genesis caused everything to deteriorate including a devolution to occure in animals and man. That devolution causes speciation or micro-evolution.

7. The Flood in Genesis was a world-wide flood.

8. Both spiritual and physical death started after the fall. Before the fall no one died and everything was perfect. Also before the fall, all animals, and man, ate plants.

9. Becuase of the fall, all have sinned are on their way to Hell: Total depravity.

10. The Godhead is triune: one God, three Persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

11. Jesus was fully God and fully Man, otherwise He couldn't have paid our penalty of sin and risen on the 3rd day.

12. Salvation is a gift received by faith alone in Christ alone and expressed in the individual's repentance, recognition of the death of Christ as full payment for sin, and acceptance of the risen Christ as Savior, Lord and God.

13. All we need to know about how to be saved and how to live when we are saved are in the Bible.

14. Jesus Christ was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary.

15. Jesus Christ rose bodily from the dead, ascended to Heaven, and is currently seated at the right hand of God the Father, and shall return in person to this Earth as Judge of the living and the dead.

16. Before the judgement, the rapture of the Church will ocurr and then the Tribulation will occur.

17. God is not finished with Israel.

18. No apparent, perceived, or claimed interpretation of evidence in any field, including history and chronology, can be valid if it contradicts the Scriptural record.

19. The Bible teaches plainly that the world was created in six (6) twenty-four (24) hour days.

20. Exodus 20:11
"For in six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, but he rested on the seventh day. Therefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy."

Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."

Romans 6:23 "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."

Romans 5:8 "But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us."

Romans 10:9 "That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

Romans10:13 "for, "Whoever calls upon the name of the Lord will be saved."

I'm just another kid trying to live a life pleasing to God. I am very interested in the Creation vs. Evolution Debate. I believe the Bible teaches plainly that the world was created in six (6) days, and I also believe if you are a Christian, you should believe in Creation.
