Instead of putting washers under the trucks, I have used offset shank couplers to either raise or lower the coupler head as needed. It works well and eliminates the potential screw problems. @TheRickRod There are wide shoulders on both sides of the bridge. I would almost call it a 4-lane bridge. ( the road leading to it is 2-lane.) Plenty of room to park safely on the bridge, get out of your vehicle and take pictures. One of my favorite train watching spots!
