How many stitches would you say are good for a baby blanket? i wanted to make one for my nephew when he was born, and he is a year old in february! i'm a little late haha.

this was really helpful. whenever i do french braids i take the extra hair with the strand and then put it over all at once instead of taking the piece over and then adding the extra hair. i'm never too happy with the results, so i'm happy to try your way!
