where is a good source to buy buffalo flint

I bought a used 220 volt Sitter Kiln, will your application work on a 220? I want to use it to heat treat flint and I have now as is to control it other than the low,med,high dail settings

I am in Castroville, can you recommend any place to collect that geogetown or pertinales flint, the stuff we have down here is pretty tough unless you heat treat... any suggestions?

Is that Texas Edwards flint? We have lots of flint big noduals on my place in Medina Co Tx, some rootbeer some peanut butter color. My question is if you find a really large potato shape one, how is the best way to break it across the middle to begin the spalling?

have you tried putting some melted lead in one to help the intitual force?
