About this user

I'm a first generation Cuban-American (i.e. "made in America with Cuban parts"). I'm a native of New Jersey, where latin music and culture were an ever-present part of my childhood. However, it was during my college years that my passion for dancing was kindled, while salsa dancing in New York. Since then I have learned from various instructors including Razz M' Tazz (NY), Cultural Explosion (NJ), Franklin Diaz (NY), Eddie Torres (NY), Frankie Martinez (NY), Super Mario (UK) and many more. I continue to learn from other instructors every chance I get.

I have performed and instructed throughout the United States and the world, including:

USA - New York, New Jersey, Puerto Rico, Boston, Chicago, Detroit, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, Philadelphia & Washington DC.
Canada - Montreal & Toronto
Europe - Rome (Italy), Torino (Italy) & London (UK)
India - Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad & Mumbai

I have a unique style of dancing that includes a blend of traditional Salsa/Mambo with Flamenco, Jazz & Modern. My style of teaching focuses on proper technique, body movement and musical timing. My classes are well-structured and detailed.

My main goal now is to share my passion for Latin dance and in particular salsa with anyone who is willing to learn. I want to help spread salsa to the far corners of India and the world.
