@zasr71 the way that I read the pattern, the 4 rows of the lace stitch will actually have 74 sts until the final row where you do *p1 k2tog* to the end because the k2tog's will undo the yo from the previous row, but not the current one. you don't need to be back to 50 sts until after the lace is ...

@Donnavis That's actually the technically correct way to hold the hook. I hold it like a knitting needle because I learned knitting first and I was never told that it really mattered how you held the hook. I can hold it either way now that I have practiced some more, and you can really hold it ho...

You can knot if you want, but weaving in is generally better, so long as you weave in at least 2 inches or so in alternating directions (zig-zaggy) just like you normally would.
