I don't believe that this film is underrated - just not as well-known as it should be. Those who know it acknowledge its greatness.

I was IN LOVE with this song when I was a kid - must've been about 8 or 9 years old. Of course I had no real idea of the meaning, I sorta did but not entirely. Still, hearing it now takes me right back to that moment of my life. I love it still!
