This song is a true classic. Every time I hear it brings me back to a very special time in my life. Oh those memories and BABY I AM AND ALWAYS WILL BE FOR REAL.

So many true soulful R & B classics came out of the 70's. Brings back so many good memories of growing up during that era. Would not change that for anything.

I searched all over NY city during the 80's to find this jam. I finally found the 12 inch vinyl extended version and played it over and over. Still sounds fresh as the day I purchased it. Dance, dance, dance the night away.

A feel good song.

What an era of music to grow up in. I love this song and also the classic baby i'm for real. They also did an upbeat tempo song called green grows the lillacs.

Nice rendition. However, nothing beats SMOKEYZ version.

I love this song. There is a slow Basanova beat in the background. I still have this album from the 70's which was on the greatest eras in music.

I grew up during this era of music and came to appreciate all types of music but r&b from the 70's was just so awesome. The music was all about feeling and always had true meaning in its lyrics and great vocals. This is indeed my favorite New Birth song above all else.

Nothing will ever surpass the original version of this song by Billy Stewart but nice rendition all the same.
