Great love?! George used to beat the living shit out of Tammy. Don't get me wrong...I love George's voice and songs...there aren't any others even close to his talent. But, you can't forget he was a wife abuser.

Was only knee high to a grasshopper when I saw Merle live....not nearly old enough to appreciate him. But at least, at 45, I do now.

This was also my wedding song! When my husband and I were dating he didn't know right away that I was raised on "old" country. The song was always special to me...even as a kid. He played it for me one evening and, well, the rest is history. Going on 11 years and still feel like newlyweds.

Can anyone shed light on the dissention regarding Robert Trujillo? I remember an awards show where the rest of the band members sounded and acted like they wanted to kill him - completely leaving him out of their thanks, etc. Sorry I can't provide more details...the show was several years back....
