August 28, 2009. The group of DZTP, CIS and UNP-Candon, in common cause, hiked the elevating road to Madarang. This is for outreach program given to the poor. Madarang is located in a remote place of Salcedo, Ilocos Sur. We walked, hiked and run 3 hours just to reach the place of Madarang. Its okay, we were welcome by their tadek, gangsa and dalleng, and oh yes, their exotic recipe that includes pikao, pako and agurong. (less info)
