"Let there be light..."

We must always understand, whoever we are, that there is always SOMETHING we are fighting - and that is EVIL. The chief rule? Never fight evil with evil. Hate, violence and intolerance may be the easy way now, but will always be the hard way in the end. The cheap comes out expensive.

I have lived my life as a strong Catholic, and only recently have I found my true purpose in this large world. I have always strived to understand the world on an almost exclusively metaphysical level, in shades of black, white and gray. EVERYTHING - every social issue, every negative thought, every profane thing that walks the Earth, and everything that studies them, such as sociology and psychology - can be traced back to shades of grey if you widen your perception sufficiently.

If you do not understand what darkness is, you will never understand what light is either. Trace the problem back, taking note of the signs of dark and light along the way, and fill in the dark spaces with light. The concept of evil can be reduced to a lack of understanding of the truth: understanding is mightier than the pen OR the sword. Having perfect understanding is to be more like God; we are called to be more like Christ every day, and gaining understanding will fulfill that important directive. I feel that most of us do not understand as much as we should about the nature of the world, and I therefore believe this to be my personal mission. Go in peace, fellow ORWarriOR...

RULES: Not a whole lot, because they again stem from the basics. Think about the implications of what you do on both levels; many common behaviors actually cause more trouble than they solve.

Though I'm a very strong believer, I listen to other opinions - if you don't understand the opposing opinion, how can you change it? Treating this the wrong way spreads more darkness than it does light; this is a VERY important point to remember.

To translate to an Internet setting...trolls, for example, love to waste other people's time. Spam posters send junk e-mails, posts, and even YouTube comments everywhere to waste everyone else's time. But it will actually take less time to delete spam than to post it. I hold this as one of my chief maxims: wasting my time turns out to be an even bigger waste of YOUR time.
