Man, I tried to make a video about Dale and Leilani Neumann recently (look them up. A Wisconsin Christian couple who let their 11-year-old daughter die of very treatable diabetes because instead of taking her to a doctor they wanted to just try prayer), but I was just too angry that all I could do was yell gibberish at the camera. These f***ing murderers only got 6 months in jail.

Ray Kurzweil is much too sophisticated for Glenn Beck. But I'm glad he did that interview; it exposes so many people to these new ideas. :-)

when you've articles it enriches the vocabulary and sounds more varied. you, as a native english speaker, are in trouble because you're not used to it. And right, there is no sense in fefminine or masculine. in french "sun" is male and in german feminine. i personally like english but it leaks a few things (has also advantages). good in english is it not to distinguish between formal and informal you, because that just creates an artficial distance between two persons. negative is it not to distinguish between you singulas and plurl, which infect isn't the same. by the way, english is a germanic language, originated about 1300 years backk when people of todays netherlands crossed the sea. that's why english and german have many correspondences.

Regarding that "You Are Not Alone" episode of the Glenn Beck program that Shepard Smith was jealous of, I actually saw that. It was very disappointing. In the special episode, Glenn Beck spouted "mom-and-apple-pie, traditional Christian America"-type collectivism and bromides. It was Glenn Beck at his worst. Roark would have gotten bored and tuned out, but Alvah Scarrett would have loved it. :-(
