Synopsis:
Australian musical theatre and cabaret star, Queenie van de Zandt, stars in "Kings & Queens" -- a comical cabaret about all things royal...or things trying to be royal, that aren't really.

Synopsis:
Queenie van de Zandt's addiction to cabaret has taken her from performing with at the age of 17, in her first cabaret; "The Essential Lloyd Webber" (at a venue in the country town of Queanbeyan, on a stage covered with bright green carpet), to teaching cabaret at the Victorian College of the Arts and NIDA.
In CABARET -- IN 12 EASY STEPS, Queenie van de Zandt, ("...the spectacular musical theatre and cabaret performer..." Sunday Telegraph), together with her accompanist Lucy Bermingham, reveal the secrets to creating a successful cabaret all while simultaneously performing a successful cabaret (and just a tip, one of the secrets is not designing a set which consists of pinning all your musical theatre record covers at jaunty angles onto a curtain).
Yes -- it's a cabaret, about cabaret, within a cabaret -- it's pretty straight forward really.
If you're addicted to cabaret and love a combination of listening to great singing, having lots of laughs and getting a certificate of attendance at the end of it -- this show will definitely be your "Music of the Night".
DISCLAIMER: One Andrew Lloyd Webber song will be sung live on the night and some footage shown from the 1988 cabaret show "The Essential Lloyd Webber". For those afflicted with allergies to Lloyd Webber music -- there will be a warning before each occurrence.

The segment in which our Annie Audition Preparation Workshops were featured on The Kerrie-Anne show.
After two weeks of workshops in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne last year, I've been inundated with requests to hold more. So, I'll be running two more Annie Audition Preparation Workshops in Melbourne on February 11th and 12th at Jason Coleman's Ministry of Dance, to help girls prepare for the upcoming auditions for Annie.
Over 50 children attended our workshop in Sydney and out of the 24 children cast in the show - 5 of them had attended my workshops. I'm so thrilled that the children who come along to these workshops have a high rate of success and I'm very proud of all the children who attended our workshops and the way they conduct themselves in their auditions - we had great feedback about them - and many of them got down to the final rounds.
I'm looking forward to working with more talented kids in Melbourne!
