@MartianSanta I watch YPM (and YM) and I'm well under 30. I started watching it in my teens. I also watch Blackadder. I also know plenty of people who are over 30 who watch Blackadder, seeing as it is after all an 80s TV series.

So, I've been going through a whole load of Darkness stuff - the documentary, the album, the notes, everything about it.

This should could/should have been on it - would have fit in with the theme.

@CAYOMluver I remember him telling that story. What was it in? He said he broke in and told the guard "Hi - Im Bruce Springsteen. I'm famous" when he was a scraggy looking kid wearing an undershirt and shredded jeans :D

@iluvrocknrap Why? If you're listening to studio songs of Springsteen, you're missing the whole essence that IS Bruce Springsteen.

@aeynub Darkness and the River were superb albums. Born in the USA was overrated (in that it was his biggest hit and said to be his best, when it wasn't), but it was still a very good album. "Downbound Train" on Born in the USA in particular is a superbly haunting track.

Music reached its zenith when Springsteen toured the United States in '78 for the Darkness Tour.
