The statement regarding 25mph maximum speed is incorrect, nine cars covered more than 100 miles in the four hour race so averaged over 25mph even though they have to stop at least four times. Most of the top cars will have hit speeds of 30-35mph during the race.

You've got to applaud the marshals, as soon as the car stops they're running towards it preparing the extinguishers as they go and the fire is out after only 10-12 seconds. They're the reason motorsport is able to continue in these safety obsessed days.

@JonahHartley You're probably right, but if it's the only way the bloodsucking corporate leeches will make it easy to introduce youngsters to decent music then I'll grudgingly put up with it. Look at it this way, in 15-20 years this sort of music will be copyright expired so keep getting the next...
