@bytedildo No. This is one hypothesis to account for the data collected in a, at the moment, controversial study. There are many others, most of which include simple errors in measurement. In addition, we don't see superluminal neutrinos (assuming that's what you meant by neutrons) in other place...

@2JAMMY You do realize we use programming to figure out how nature works? Human knowledge isn't separate. Everything is intertwined, and that means we have to understand how modern technology works to understand how modern science works.

Woah, NOR flash relies on quantum tunneling? That's awesome. I didn't know hardware in general had gotten to a point where quantum effects played any role at all, much less being a central part of such a basic function.

He's specifically addressing those people that pride themselves on not being part of "the system". They are indeed a kind of individualist, specifically individualist anarchists. TAA is pointing out, rightfully, that in the modern world this would basically require being a hermit.

Teaching students to reason through problems is a good idea. Forcing them to use an inefficient, cumbersome method for a simple concept to fulfill the aforementioned idea is, as evidence shows, stupid.
