Bijen hebben in de stad en nieuwbouwwijk een prima omstandigheden om te overleven. Er zijn altijd bloemen te vinden en tijdens droogte wordt er gesproeid.
Zelfs in een postzegeltuintje kunnen bijen gehouden worden. Ook met in- en uitrennende kinderen (altijd slippers aan!).

Ik heb een minivolkje in de tuin gezet waarvan ik hoop dat het volgend jaar honing gaat opleveren. Dit jaar mogen ze hun ding doen, volgend jaar delen we de buit
