great song but it's Aldo Novas and he did it better.

everything Aldo writes has meaning, he's not just a great guitarist. i wore out more of his tapes in the 80's than you can count, thanks to digital i don't have to keep running back to the record shops to replace them.

this guy could play a guitar like nobody else.

we used to truck into the back lakes of nova scotia in the early 80's, and when we got there we would always crank Aldo. thanks for the memories.

if you don't know aldo he is the first guy to have a guitar battle with himself on a song, he also did a lot of work with Bon Jovi.

nice job! the question i have is how did you get that speed? mine had something close to 4.5 to 1 gears and an 800cc engine and would at best do 70kmh downhill with a good wind behind me, i even had the canvas doors so it was less weight, but she was a beast on the 4 wheeler trails.

i grew up in the 70's and 80's and i can say this is the second best song i ever heard behind the extended version of this song (about 8 minutes).but breakfast club "right on track" is a close second

LOL. i'm canadian and i grew up in the 70's listening to the original by gordon lightfoot (seriously it will make you cry) the remake is one of the best and the guys are not bad.

gordon lightfoot (canadian) had a lot of songs that would make you cry! try him singing this, rainy day people, edmund fitzgerald, sundown. and early mornin' rain just to name a few. if you do not shed a tear your cold as ice.
