The College of Agriculture and Human Sciences at Prairie View A&M University serves as the catalyst to reinforce the basic land-grant function upon which the University was founded by promoting the coordination of programmatic activities among teaching, extension and research.

The primary mission of the College shall be to strengthen the position of the University in matters relating to individuals and families and their interactive roles with social, economic and environmental systems.
