The Putrid Flowers

The Putrid Flowers are a New York City based Indie-Punk band that formed a new direction in 1999 and independently released their first full length "...and for the little children, sing" in 2000. After several small east coast tours and some modest college airplay, they released an ambitious follow-up titled, "Young for the Last Time" in 2005. This release put together a masterful tapestry of punk songs united by age old literary themes updated and applied to the post modern era. The lyrical maturity and social understanding rarely found on punk records has earned the group a new generation of underground fans.
