no. actually, in the House of Representitives, filibustering has become much more difficult with the passing of the 1842 cloture bill. in this bill, it is possible to end a filibuster of a 2/3 majority agrees to it. Its different in the senate, i think, but a bill must pass through both of them so its hard.

I know this, but i felt it better to keep it simple. It is bad enough that people can not even add and subtract. Also you clearly did not see the note at the bottom of the post that stated the real number is much higher.

Heres an example for YOUR small mind.
let's say you pay a 6% and then an 8% tax. That does not add up to you paying a 14% tax. You would say that if we had 50 dollars and pay 14% tax total, we'd take home $43.00.
When actually it would look like this, take home after the initial 6% would be $47, AND THEN the 8% tax after that would make a take home of $43.24.
Obviously for the people that truley understand math would know that your are actually taking home more than what your saying or figuring.
I'm opposed to taxes to, but I thought I would correct YOU when it comes to math.

You know I bet if you were not enslaved to the State for half of your working lifetime, you could afford to see a doctor when ever you needed. Further more you would not have to give a "cut" (40%) to the insurance corporation, and pay the hospital to talk to and deal with the insurance corporation. You could just see a doctor one on one, and get that personal care you deserve on your terms. It is called freedom, and guess what?...It works, in fact our Country was founded on it.
