I love musical theater, Glee, etc. I'm not a true theater nerd but I'm working my way in that direction. :) I am almost 25 (ie not a teen) and I think Darren Criss is about the cutest guy alive. He and Josh Groban fight it out in my mind every so often. I am a grad student in physics.
I am working on improving my singing voice and have been doing so fairly seriously for the past six or so years. I have never had voice lessons but have learned a lot from singing in choirs.
Idina Menzel and Kristin Chenoweth are two of my ideals so far as singing voices, that I try to model my voice after so far as is possible. Though I love lots of singers, including Stephanie J Block and Shoshana Bean.
I mostly consider Broadway singers to be real singers.
I think Lea Michele is incredibly talented, but I'm more obsessed with Darren and Chris Colfer's voices on Glee these days. And Naya, too. Gotta see the Glee movie since I couldn't make the concert. I don't have $200 lying around for that sort of thing, sadly.
My other interests include: singing, piano, horses (I ride hunt seat and am learning to jump), dogs (I trained mine in agility, and miss him dreadfully since I had to give him away when I started college), guinea pigs (We bred mine when I was young, they are so cute!). My more nerdy interests run along the lines of Star Wars and Star Trek, but I just like the characters, I don't really care about the science-fiction aspect of it. I'm also really into Grey's Anatomy, and enjoy Lost and Private Practice as well. Some oldies TV shows that I love are the Cosby Show and Home Improvement, Dr. Quinn and Matlock, Andy Griffith Show and Little House on the Prairie. I love reading books by C.S. Lewis, I love the way he thinks.
I do physics research, ride the horse I lease, and play frisbee in the summers. In the winter I do the same except sometimes I just do physics and shovel snow off my car and try not to break my neck on the ice.
