@OsmosisDives My guess would be that people no longer "Listen" to music, less so songs. These were ballads which told of the times, of human feelings and in a way that you couldn't help but pay attention.. Gone sadly; all gone....

As horrific as this is, don't kid yourselves that it wouldn't / couldn't happen in ANY so called western society. Our values aren't exactly "warm" when it comes to helping others. Perhaps our kids, growing up in a "no consequences" society like ours, will do that to people..............
