IT IS FINALLY DONE. *___________________*
It's taken over 9 months to get this MEP done, but we got there in the end!! Despite the difficulties faced in getting this MEP finished, I really have to say, I am so proud of the result! I've honestly watched all the individual parts at least 10 times, but seeing them all put together, flowing from one part to the next makes me feel like I'm watching it for the first time *A*
And Happy New Year everyone!! What better way to welcome in a new year than with a massive 23 part MEP?! xDD
A big thank you to everyone who participated in this MEP - whether you signed up for the MEP from the beginning, whether you came in halfway, or whether you accepted my desperate pleas to join this MEP cos people kept dropping out on me...THANK YOU SO MUCH! Also, thanks for putting up with my many, MANY reminder PMs and beta-testing xDD And for those of you who sent me their parts literally 6-7 months ago, thank you for waiting so long for it to be done (and for submitting your part ontime xDD)

I know what you're all thinking: "Umm, Mez, isn't Cony's birthday in JULY? Why you so stupid?!" WHY YES WORLD, HER BIRTHDAY IS IN JULY. I JUST FAIL A LOT AND HAVE TAKEN OVER HALF A YEAR TO FINISH A PROPER BIRTHDAY VIDEO FOR HER SO SHUSH xDDD
...Yeah, OK, I'm a little hyper but also tired cos I did this video in under 24 hours |D SPEED EDITING FTW. And the lack of sleep was TOTALLY WORTH IT; the inspiration wouldn't stop coming (how nice for a change).
This is the first manhwa (the Korean's equivalent of manga) I've read, and I thought it was super sweet! ;w; And it's not too long either, so it's a nice read~ Cony introduced me to it and she loves this song, so it's a somewhat fitting birthday present (maybe just a /little/ late OTL)
Message for Cony: thank you so much dearie for being the awesome person that you are! You're my oldest friend on Youtube - I remember how we first met (and back then, neither of us were really editing with manga very well..I see improvement from both of us over the last 2 years though MUHAHAHA xDD) - you left such enthusiastic comments on "Collide" and on so many of my other videos! I think that despite the many events we've gone through over the last few years, that's something that hasn't changed - your ability to make people feel loved through your passion and wonderful words! Stay lovely as always! And prepare your body for another birthday video in 6 months time (provided inspiration doesn't go away on me again |D) Love you!!! ♥ ♥
About the video - I really had a lot of fun editing this!! Except for the rendering part - I kept finding little mistakes so I had to fix them cos they bother me to no end, and then I had to re-render so it'd be pitched =____= CURSE YOU, YOUTUBE!!
Anyways...moving on~ I've always wanted to edit with this song (I had like a 5 second long part with Dengeki Daisy..it isn't very good =w=). Tried a number of new effects/ideas from various MMVs which I love...
Thank goodness for Photoshop - I didn't mask a single image thanks to it xDDD All the pictures were coloured already in the manhwa, so that's an extra bonus ;D Such a beautifully drawn and coloured work of art *A*
