About this user

We have a small family farm in the mountains of Vermont east of Montpelier-Barrie. The primary things we sell are sustainable lumber, firewood and all naturally raised pastured pigs. We offer piglets, suckling pigs, roasters, whole pigs delivered to the butcher and retail cuts to stores, restaurants and individuals.

In addition to farming we homeschool our children, my wife Holly draws portraits (see http://HollyGraphicArt.com) and we are building our own passive solar masonry home (see http://sugarmtnfarm.com/cottage) here on the mountain. In my spare time I have been known to tilt at windmills (http://NoNAIS.org).

Our current Big Project is we are building our own on-farm USDA/State inspected slaughterhouse, butcher shop and smokehouse so that our animals will be able to remain on our farm from birth to death through their whole life cycle. See:
