@bamaguynbham It does have some to do with it because most of the damage and injuries are caused by flying debris. So more populated areas do yield more damage.

God man...there is no tornado. Just a bunch of tropical airmass clouds. Quit playing with your hair and cut it...the 80's called and they want their hairstyle back.

@dalailamafarma what is funny is that on the leading edges of a shelf cloud you can get brief spin ups of needle funnels or gustnadoes. They can cause damage equivalent of an EF1 tornado.
