Sailing toward that day that lifts the veil
trailing blood behind while all the walls are scaled
bailing water out the boat just circling round this moat
reading a note some dead hand wrote
on the water's surface some strange eye floats
on the shore I see a one beside another one
between them rises a newborn Sun
they collapse while whispering that new time has begun

singing songs from days already done

Darling dollops of dreamy dumplings
dangling drowsily from celestial heights
burnt offerings in arcane rites
so long ago but still they smolder
the dust, the dust grows ever older
the time we inhabit grows ever colder
the darkness of shadows grows ever bolder
the darkness that devours
blossoms into black flowers
it grows and flows
It climbs atop the terrible towers
as time devours the pretty flowers.

Laughing lavender locusts in the trees,
our drops dripping into the seas,
labyrinths of time coated with grime,
polished by mimes all filled with slime,
killed by time, killed by time,
filled with notions as they climb,
filled by oceans in their prime,
when rivers reverse and climb uphill,
we'll all gaze up and be so still,
the stars go dark and space lights up,
and you'll see how small a place we fill

Dark drops draining through the cracks,
eternal circles spinning and standing in stacks,
the water bearer searching for forgotten old wells,
seeking to find the hope that he now lacks,
It must be over there,
lost in the dark side of that glare,
off to the west lies lovely death,
the setting Sun will burn these eyes,
so that is where I stare,
I see the way, and the dragon there to slay,
even with eyes composed of clay,
even in days that seem so dark,
even in the cryptic Book of Coming Forth By Day,
beautiful flames fed on dead names,
around them dance phantoms,
angelic spectors obsessed with devilish games.

Blindly casting arrows into the sky,
desperatly seeking something sacred in this high,
floating in bed, pretending I'm dead,
I see beauty when I close my eyes,
mystery flows up from mother's womb,
flows and flows from every tomb,
look inside and I see doom,
lovely rhyme, that's called time,
raising gods up out of slime,
kissing omega after we climb,
on with the tour, this means war,
some kind of zealot covered in gore,
my weary soul just feels so sore,
here from the west now comes the rains,
washing the way for light to come,
black ink flows through these veins,
black ink squirting must make such beautiful stains,
out I drain, out into the abyss I'll slowly drain.

Fire dancing through tunnels of time,
flames melting together to form a rhyme,
past to future, beginning to end,
all as one we created this crime,
I see a face peering out from infinite space,
It's mine and on this mystery It dines,
a glutton 4 anything that seems real,
everywhere I look I see a sign,
show me your eyes and I'll tell you your size,
Tell me what you've done and I'll show you your prize,
a brand new birth? riding in circles in this hearse?
rolling around and round and round,
trying to hold a mirror up to this curse,
but what do you see? six clowns chanting strange songs,
but what is to be? seven sisters gazing down upon these wrongs,
what does it mean? to know the secrets so long unseen?
mostly pain, praying alone in pouring rain,
stuck somewhere between darkness and the light,
somewhere between the madness and the sane.

Down the halls, reading walls,
dead eyes hiding in the shadows,
and the dust from other lives continues to fall,
deep in my mind i can hear those phantoms call,
deep in dreams, where nothing is what it seems,
but true light doesn't fall,hidden from Ra's beams,
this is night, dead man's sight,
where against the reaper he endlessly fights,
and searches the darkness for points of light,
here he stands, here he lies,
here on this stage he sits and dies,
struggling to remember his lines,
only in the end does he find the prize

My soul, the toll,
the price to reach my goal,
take it all, the full story explains the fall,
kinda gory, the brains splattered upon the wall,
and the Force behind it all continues to call,
pulls me up to a higher plane,
I see time circling around the drain,
purple gel melted on my tongue,
farewell to all I thought was sane,
I smell dust mixed with lust,
silly monkeys doing what they must,
I hear thunder mixed with wonder,
wish I still believed in demons,
but my soul is just a victim of my own plunder.

Mind machine, What's that mean?
we're on the fringes cloaked in green,
right on schedule from what I've seen,
dark and light, dark and light,
need them both to have clear sight,
though those cycles fill me with fright,
but nearly done, nearly won,
spent a Great Year ripening beneath our Sun,
despite the eternity promised I'm fighting the urge to run,
fighting an urge to eat this gun,
take my place, wear my face,
followers of Horus so far led this race,
masons gazing towards outer space,
established this land to gather the seed,
Omega's the place for which we bleed,
where oh where does tomorrow lead?

Time to fall, off the wall,
heard the whispered song of all,
heard the coming curtain call,
words keep coming, who can say just what they mean?
who can lay there in between?
and decipher all that we have seen,
on this glory road all cloaked in green,
this gory abode all soaked in dreams.

as the feathered serpent twisted high,
zero one portal by and by,
through that hole into hell every newborn flies,
somewhere near Orion's belt I think,
into this crucible the new eyes sink,
to drowned in slime, to taste this time,
to see how high we can climb,
it's not hard to see the rhyme,
sung at midnight by a half mad mime,
lose your mind and you're halfway there
then into the mystery you may stare.
